The Presbyterian congregation began in 1854. The first St Andrews church was built in Myers Street in 1859 but this was demolished and the current stuccoed brick building was built in 1930. This game was advertised as a "new game" in 1909.Board game called Advance Australia. The board is divided in 144 squares with 136 numbered consecutively. The game was played with a pair of dice. The game has its unique form, with shipwrecks, lost in the outback, hazardous landings and high seas being some features. The leather tumbler and dice are with the game.
