This photograph has been variously identified as "Miss Jennings", "Emily Jennings", and "Ilma Jennings", and also as "Reg Jennings' sister" and "Reg Jennings' aunt". It is most likely of Martha Emily Jennings, born 1876 (known as Emily), the oldest daughter of Jonathan and Martha Jennings (née Bersey). Martha Emily Jennings had a brother Reginald (born1899) and also had a nephew Reginald (the son of her brother William Jonathan Jennings). It is unlikely to be a photograph of Ilma Jennings (a daughter of William Jonathan Jennings and niece of Martha Emily Jennings) who was not born until 1909. The photograph was taken by "Eden Society Studios", a Sydney photographic studio which operated between 1895 and 1900.Sepia photograph of a young lady wearing a gown with pintucking on bodice and sleeves, and with a lace collar. Newspaper clipping with details of the recovery using tram 21 following an accident between tram 37 and a semitrailer. Newspaper cutting gives details of those trammies involved, Dave Kellett and Herbert Ward. Collided with a semi carrying wool bales. Wal notes the tram was scrapped in 1955. Second cutting notes a derailment of a tram at the junction of Main Road and Victoria St. Noted the delays occurring. Wal has written the date of "Monday 15-6-1953" on the cutting. Each ticket medium weight card, on 200 gsm aqua card and printed on red ink to give day numbers, monthly, week number, transfers and day of week, excluding Sunday. Numbered on the right end of the ticket. Static number (1 - 7) on left it may be to indicate the day of issue. On the rear of the ticket are the details of the ticket use, allowing the passenger one return journey between City and section 4. Not available on Sundays. Form Number TYE 2-10. Each ticket has been stamped "CANCELLED" in purple ink. Demonstrates a SEC Weekly ticket.Block of SECV 2/- weekly tickets, ticket numbers Aa163090 - 16399. Originally printed and stapled into a blocks of 20 tickets. E Note: 1. See Reg. Item 230on page dated Feb. 22 for another two weekly tickets, c1950, price 2/6. Printed in off white card in red ink. Significant in being a sheet regarding tramcar braking systems and how considered at the time - 1950. No mention of sand in braking technique.Was contained within Reg Item 3519 in which located in the filing cabinet 8/2006. Small typed carbon copy instruction or "Notice to All Traffic Staff" titled "Braking", discussing the names of emergency brake. Notes air braked trams have on emergency brake only - the air brake. Stopping trams electrically is not regarded as brake equipment, and should not be used unless air brake is defective. Dated 24/11/1950. An album of photographs with some postcards compiled by Wal Jack, a Ballarat tram and rail enthusiast of Bendigo and Geelong tram photographs. Some photographs are duplicated in the Museum's holdings.Has a strong association with Wal Jack and tramway developments until 1964. Given their extent are of particular significance to the Museum and the Provincial tramways. Features Bendigo and Geelong tramcars. Black binder cloth covered folder, two brass screw binders with grey paper inside covers holding some 40 grey colour foolscap size sheets of card on which photos have been mounted using photo corners so various types, captions in blue or black ink. Some 111 Bendigo and 94 Geelong black and white photographs with some postcards.
