Photo shows the inbound tram stop pole on the Northwest corner of Sturt and Drummond Streets in Ballarat. In 1972 Ivanhoe Progress Association planned to fill in the wetlands because they felt it bred mosquitos, and they obtained a grant for this work to take place.
