Black and white photograph of Central Nell Gwynne Mine on boundary of Ironbark. This was one of three gold mines marked for assistance to commence the mining revival. This steel poppet head previously stood over the Lightning Hill Mine and firstly over the Virginia Mine. Bendigonians can access the site from Coath Street.
