All issues printed with an cream colour paper cover with the rest of the magazine white glass paper. 1723.1 - Vol. 3, No. 1 - 16 pages, January 1966, with a photo of the Mark VI bus No. 702 on the front cover, notes on Traffic Congestion, motor cars and supermarkets, depot masters, engineering, bus maintenance, sports and social club news. On rear cover includes a photo of a Christmas function with past senior employees - left to right - H. R. Steains (architect), H. S. McComb (Chief Surveyor), Mr. Aird, Mr. P. M. Functional object - Cloth Bag, Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board (MMTB), mid 1970's to 1980's
Cloth bag - sewn brown canvas with a metal ring and cloth strip attached to one side and stencilled "16" on both sides of the bag. Book - green Rexene covers, 106 pages with title - "Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board - Rules and Regulations". Six sections, sewn into covers, dated Nov. 1974. Provides rules for both tramway and motor bus operations, has index pages 3 to 28, rules for both systems and specific type of vehicle, ticket machines and ticket issuing. At rear is MMTB By-Law 11, dated 1956. On the rear of each ticket has the use details. .1 - Sunday Saver Full Fare - Zone 1, $2.50, issued 15/4/2005 and used on the same date. .2 - Printed Metcard, but no use details, advertising the October 2005 Arts Festival - not used. .3 - ditto advertising the "Transported Back" exhibition at the Public Records Office, finishing 28/1/2005. .4 - "The Summer Read" advertising a competition sponsored by the State Library of Victoria - undated, has the logos of the State Library and Victorian Government (the place to be) - mid 2000's?
