Interview of three persons, members of the Temple Society, who were arrested in Palestine during World War 2 as "enemy aliens". They were transported to Australia on the "Queen Elizabeth" which was being used at that time, as a troop ship. As part of a group of approximately 650 men, women and children from Palestine,they were held in internment Camp 3, Tatura, from 1941 until 1947. Those internees who chose to remain in Australia after the war were released at such time as they were able to obtain employment and accommodation. Also interviewed is Lurline Knee, Researcher for the Tatura Wartime Camps Museum. Written by Hilde Knorr. The history and love story of Hans and Hilde Knorr. Hans was an Australian from South Africa. He survived the "Arandora Star" sinking, was on the Dunera, was in Camp 1 as an internee, then POW Camp 13, when rules changed. Approved to stay in Australia after release. Certificate of engineeering qualification awarded to War Camp internee, Stephan Asboth. Born 27.7.1914. Originally interned at Camp Loveday, in South Australia. Certificate reads that Asboth's achievement was "Gut" (good). Sculpture made by Pte Bruno Simon V377556, a 30 year old internee who became a member of the CMF Employment Company. After Nazism came to Germany in 1933, Simon studied sculpture in Paris and Florence and then came to Australia.
