The photographs are from his personal album, but have not been traced to any available online archive, so provenance has not been established. They are likely a mixture of personal, commercial and official naval photography. The set featuring Diggers in their Australian camp ore obviously original. This camera comes from the 1920s and originally belonged to a member of the Shadbolt family but no information has been found on this family.
