This vintage meat press would have been used for pressed tongue, meat, cheese, brawn, terrine. A large vintage alloy metal heavy rectangular meat press. The clips on each end of the spring lid are made of strong thick steel which is screwed tight aided by thick springs, to press the food within. It has a very heavy round concrete weight inside.
