The visit to Tatura of Queen Elizabeth 2 was first by a reigning monarch and no other visit has caused such excitement. The Station was highly decorated and the Royal Cypher in golden flowers mounted on scarlet velvet made a perfect background for the artistic scheme. These particular ones were sold by the Red Cross for fundraising purposes.
