Book, Hooper-Greenhill, Eilean, Museum And Gallery Education
This book provides a thorough overview of the educational aims of all kinds of museums and galleries. it includes a discussion of different types of museums, their educational structures and arrangements, all of which vary enormously. Different forms of education provision are examined in relation to various types of both collection and audience. Taking into consideration the increased emphasis, at both local and governmental levels, on public service and customer care, Hooper=Greenhill discussed, and makes practical suggestions for the way forward to museums. This book provides a thorough overview of the educational aims of all kinds of museums and galleries. it includes a discussion of different types of museums, their educational structures and arrangements, all of which vary enormously.
