Bendigo Art Gallery was founded in 1887. Typed and signed letter from Gordon Thomson, Deputy Director of the NGV addressed to Mr W. B. Bolton at Bendigo Art Gallery. Letter is on National Gallery of Victoria letterhead requesting photographs and information about the gallery on behalf of UNESCO for publication in the International journal 'Museum'.
