Sue, 19, of Warrandyte Road, North Ringwood, will visit twenty countries in the course of the next few weeks and will be interviewed on radio and television in Europe and the United States. She will spend ten days in Rome and will also visit Naples, Venice, and Milan, and other parts of Europe before going to London and the United States." Stamp also on back of photograph reads, "John A. Mulligan, Photographer, 108 Albion St. City". No inscription on the back of P121(a) but stamp states photographer as, "Stuart Goldsworthy, ... Melbourne". -

Hand copied letters from the files of the Shire of Ballarat East and City of Ballaarat. 1 - dated 31/8/1880 asking for the concession to construct tramways in their district and one dated 19/10/1880 to the City of Ballaarat for the same purpose. Included is a letter dated 30/9/1880 from James Roberts, Supt trams to J. Smith recommending the type of car currently in use in Sydney as the "Yankee" car manufactured by Brill of Philadelphia. 2 - copy of letter dated 6/9/1880 about horse tram rails and support systems - signed by Jas R Davies. Mr Charles Sherburn came to Australia as a widower who left a grown- up family in England, but married Polly Claridge and had another 10 children. Charles and Polly formed one of the early 'Bands of Hope' and went about the locality preaching Methodism. (Refer book 'Place of Many Eagles). -
