Eltham Gateway, Chiropractors, 856 Main Road, Eltham This Californian Bungalow style house is now the oldest surviving building in this vicinity of Main Road. Previously it was Dave Lyon’s original home and immediately to the right (carpark) was the location of his original motor garage – a tin shed witrh petrol bowsers out front. When Dave Lyon built a new garage opposite Arthuir Street, Charmac Industries then operated out of the tin shed. Eltham Gateway, 860 Main Road, Eltham Situated on a large block of approximately 1,442 sq metres, it was last sold for $1.4 million 30 Oct. 2016. The premises had been left in an abandoned state for some time and on the evening of 6 July 2021 it was attended by the CFA and 8 emergency vehicles due to a fire. Breathing apparatus was required due to hazardous smoke conditions.
