A sprig of flowers/leaves and underneath a paragraph stating - One King, One Flag, One Empire. It shows a crown and the Red Ensign. Inside is a slip of paper with the addressee and a little poem from the trenches. Pte T. McOrmond 2938 Christmas 1917. It has a decorative cord around the spine. 2. This is a brown envelope with the printed stamp of Australian YMCA on the top left corner. Written across the top is "On Active Service Abroad". The Battalion served in WW2 (although not going overseas) until finally being disbanded in 1962. An assoociation of Ex Members was formed after WW1.This is a small oval badge, colours - gold lettering set on a background of dark blue over red half ovals. This copy is a yellow colour with black ink. This copy shows layout of tent, equipment and webbing. the drawing shows 8 men to a tent. Of interest is that item one a paillasse. The original had a light red stain in centre.
