Set of 6 documents associated with the provision of low floor tram stop platforms along route 96, East Brunswick to St Kilda. .1 - Pamphlet - 20 pages centre stapled, titled "Route 96 Project - Have your say: Stop 133 Fitzroy St and Acland Street Early designs" Includes a feedback form. Dated 2013. .2 - Drop in DL card - for general update on Nicholson St between Kay Street and Fitzroy North and Brunswick Road. March 2019 .3 - 6 fold A3 to DL - "Route 96 is being upgraded so everyone can catch the tram" - shows the program and map for the provision of 9 stops and timeline. The later was not achieved. 2 copies held. .4 - 6 fold to DL, special size sheet - for the redevelopment of stop 125 Port Junction - shows the siding for the Tramcar Restaurant, and stop 124 at the world trade centre. Dated 2013 .5 - 8 fold to DL - special size paper (has been torn into two), for the Acland St options, and Fitzroy St at the junction with the Light Rail line. Again not all work undertaken. 'Waking Time' is part of the series ' So when do you throw the flowers out?', which exhibited at Melbourne's Alcaston Gallery from 8 May - 1 June 2012.In this series Dena Ashbolt used photographic pigment prints, video and Raku Nu ceramic funery urn drawings, to explore time as evidenced by movement and references the beauty of aging. Ashbolt has a continuing interest engaging with the concepts of time, its flow and passing - as evident in this series. Ashbolt has been a regular finalist at the Nillumbik Prize Contemporary Art and in 2009 was awarded the Prize for the video drawing 'Wet Feet Under the Pier'. Johnson undertook this project with a State Library of Victoria 'Creative Fellowship' in 2012, drawing on early botanical illustrations by Sydney Parkinson, Pierre-Joseph Redoute, Ferdinand Bauer and others from the Library's 'Rare Books' Collection. Johnson printed this series in 2013 while working as artist in residence at Baldessin Press, St. Andrews. 'Voyages Botanical' celebrates the untamed treasures of Australia’s (Nillumbik) vast native flower garden. The work speaks to Nillumbik's natural environment and colonial heritage in the context of our national story. Federation University Australia was established on 1 January 2014. Formerly known as the University of Ballarat, its enabling legislation was the University of Ballarat Amendment (Federation University Australia) Act 2013. Although formally created as a University in 1994, the University of Ballarat has a lineage back to 1870 with the establishment of the School of Mines Ballarat, making it the third institution of higher learning to be established in Australia and the first to be established in regional Australia. On 1 January 1994, Ballarat University College became the University of Ballarat and in 1998 the University merged with three TAFE Institutes to become a dual sector institution with multiple campuses. On 1 January 2014, the University of Ballarat amalgamated with the Monash University Gippsland Campus to form Federation University Australia. The Gippsland Campus also had a long lineage dating back to 1928 with the establishment of the Yallourn Technical School which became a predecessor institution to the Gippsland College of Advanced Education formed in 1968. In 1990, it was renamed the Monash University College and in 1993 became the Gippsland Campus of Monash University. In 2016, Federation University Australia announced plans to take possession, over a two-year period, of Monash’s Berwick Campus in the south-east corridor of Melbourne. Federation University Australia, or FedUni, is headquartered in Ballarat and offers programs in Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training to regional Victoria and beyond. The University’s commitment to educational and social equity, teaching excellence, research distinction, environmental sustainability and regional capacity building has enabled it to develop in a way that draws on its proud heritage to inform its future. Its regional character sets a framework for the University’s priorities but does not constrain it from serving wider community interests, nationally and internationally. Replica Australian Tramway Employees Association (Tramways Union) badge. Badge made on a steel/ silver backing with words "Australian Tramway Employees Association" on inner edge of badge with a black background. In centre of badge has the Australian coat of arms with a railway type spoke wheel above the logo and underneath the coat of arms the words "Federated Australia" in a banner. Has a steel ring through a hole in the top of the badge. On the outer edge with red background "Centenary Brisbane General Strike 1912-2012". Badge has a metal clip on the rear.
