Laminated A3 poster or sheet titled "General Scheme for Future Tramways", prepared by the Association of Railway Enthusiasts in 1998 extracted from the MMTB Annual Report for 1923. Has comments on the scheme, new lines, proposals and shows the lines proposed. Map shows cable lines, existing electric lines, tramways proposed to be abandoned (Rathdowne St), Domain Road, alternative routes, railways and railway tram routes. Clothing - MAGGIE BARBER COLLECTION: BLACK SKIRT/TULLE/ VELVET UNDER-SKIRT OR PETTICOAT, 1890's
Clothing. This petticoat is multi-layered with one layer of taffeta at the hemline, with black velvet, the top edge of which is scalloped-55 cms deep, and finished at the top edge - the scalloped edge, with a cotton braid 2mm deep. Two layers of tulle, over the taffeta, are gathered into a 1 cm wide waistband, which fastens with a metal hook, but no loop is visible. A 23 cm long plackett has a metal press-stud closure. Medical diary and visiting list, Wellcome's Medical Diary and Visiting List (Australasian Edition) 1909, 1908
Diary was owned by Evelyn White and was found in the estate of Neil Russell. It was donated to Museum Victoria in 2006 by Neil's son, Barry. MV passed on the diary to Southern Sherbrooke Historical Society who kept it after ascertaining that Healesville Historical Society didn't want it.A leatherbound diary with closing flap and press stud closure, and an expanding pocket at the front. There is a pencil holder. The first 254 pages have been torn out. Pages 255 to 318 have printed information of benefit to GPs. The remaining pages, 1-150, are a diary plus engagements list. There are pencil scribble marks on some pages. Handwritten lists of women patients and dates, presumably when women gave birth. Also lists of patients and death dates. 'Healesville' is mentioned alongside some names. -

Sign, "Children's Carriages ....."
One of a group of signs that were fitted into tramcars in Ballarat, giving instructions to passengers about prams, behaviour, smoking, fare payment, talking to the motorman, instructions or information to drivers etc. Yields information about the sign manufacture, demonstrates the type of signs provided in tramcars.Enamel sign, black capital letters and lines on white background, titled "Children's Carriages which fold compactly may be permitted on cars at conductors discretion and owner's risk". One of a number similar signs donated to the Ballarat Tramway Preservation Society by the SEC following closure of the Ballarat Tramways system in 1971. Bomford Bas Relief Mythological Goat. Created from Sheet Copper. Carved and hammered Bas relief of a mythological creature resembling a goat with long straight horns. The Carving was created by an artist in residence at the Bendigo Psychiatric Centre ( Golden City Support Services) prior to closure. It is approximately 1.5metres high and 1.00metre wide. Mounted on a Large green wooden board. See 7312 also. Items represent the constellations Capricorn and Aquila. Shows the changes to the buildings in order to provide a running depot for the cable cars that worked the Elizabeth St to Abbotsford line via North Melbourne. These two photographs of a contingent from the Army Survey Regiment lowering the Australian flag were taken on Australia Day in Kerang, Victoria on the 26th of January 1996. Most units of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) provide contingents to regional towns in their local area to assist in commemoration ceremonies on days of national significance, such as Australia Day, ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day. This was most likely one of the last occasions before the closure of the Army Survey Regiment. The use of an improvised flagpole is unknown.These two photographs of a contingent from the Army Survey Regiment lowering the Australian flag, were taken on Australia Day in Kerang, Victoria on the 26th of January 1996. The photographs were printed on photographic paper and are part of the Army Survey Regiment’s Collection. Scales, Nullawarre Post Office
These scales came from the Nullawarre Post Office, Nullawarre being approximately 25 ks East of Warrnambool. It is a small centre for the local farming community and has some services including a store, school and hall. The Post Office has closed in more recent times and these scales are one of a number of items which came to the WDHS on its closure including a brass fire extinguisher and a 1969 telephone book. Charles Williams was a postmaster at one time and Vida Williams was post mistress. These scales are an interesting and common item with a strong connection to a local community area.These scales have a cast metal frame with a circular base and a circular vertical section which frames a brass measurement circular plate which is marked in increments up to 11 lbs and held in place with two screws. There is a rectangular metal plate at the top on which the item to be weighed would be placed. The item is quite heavy in weight.On the brass plate,: POSTAL PARCEL BALANCE SALTER'S. Provides information on each route, summary timetables, who operated the route and places of interest. Lettered in blue ball point pen and underlined in red. 2225.2 - Section titled "Single Tramcar' (Single truck trams) and detailing the use, number and where the tram was taken to, or disposed to from Ballarat following closure.
