Also reference to The Wattle Club pp. 356-7. Thus giving the connection of the Greenwood and Carr families, the subjects of Charles Wheeler's painting.Painting in glass-fronted frame.Typewritten notation behind the frame - "Greenwood oral family history says that this unsigned painting was done by Charles Wheeler as a demonstration for Rose Greenwood, (A.V. Greenwood's sister). They shared a studio at the Wattle Club Hall at Box Hill circa 1890s. The subject matter was said to be Grandfather Carr's orchard in Wantirna Road (Ringwood - Still standing in 2003). Source: Mary Greenwood, youngest Granddaughter of A.V. Greenwood." -
