Prior to this it was known as the Coffee Palace or Sandhurst Coffee Palace. The building was situated on the corner of Mollison and Mitchell Streets and has now been demolished. It was a two storey building with verandahs and ornate pediments. At the top of the building are two pediments each with a sign Heywood Sandhurst House. St. Paul's Cathedral can be seen in the background on the left hand side.
