Document. Handwritten sheet of Bendigo Advertiser report of 26 Aug. 1856 and a photocopy of same. On Saturday last Messrs Bruce & Co. of the Metropolitan Crushing Works crushed two tons of quartz - from the claim of Messrs Faul & Co in Iron Bark, which yielded the large quantity of 180 oz. of gold. This claim is said to be remarkably rich, and to be inferior to few now in work in Bendigo. Vide Bendigo Advertiser Gold Report of August 26th 1856.
