Edward Stone Parker was the protector of Aborigines at the Mount Franklin Aboriginal Protectorate.Mary Cook Parker (Cooke) and Edward Stone Parker Gravestone at Franklinford Cemetery. Mary Parker died on 11 Oct 1842, aged 35 years. Edward Stone Parker was born in 1802 and died on 25 April 1865. "Sacred to the memory of Edward Stone Parker, Protector of Aborigines. A pioneer of 1838. Died 25th April 1865. Aged 63 years. Als his first wife Mary Cooke Parker. Died 11th Oct 1842. Aged 35 years. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord."
