Left over after assembly- When the bell was destroyed by fire at Williamstown Football Pavilion. After taken off the ship the bell was used for sounding the quarters in Football matches at a young gardener who worked on the grounds of the Football oval was apparently sacked and then decided he would take out his revenge on the football club. So he got drunnk, went back to the ground and set the building on fire.A fragment of the ships bell. -
