This quilt was made to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the founding of Donvale Christian College. Mrs Anne Suk was one of the few women who held a place on the Board of the School in its early years. She was a member of one of the founding families. This is one of very few items to survive from the early years of the school. It was specifically created to celebrate the 25th anniversary.Machine pieced pale blue Quilt with navy and olive green borders and navy binding. School logo and swag of flowers have been machine pieced and appliqued on the quilt. The quilt has then been hand quilted with navy thread.On the back there is a label with "J.H.E. Suk" machine stitched on it. Made by Bob Stewart to place prominently at Reception in order to advertise the availability and smartness of this item of the uniform. As an optional item of uniform, it was popular with students who found the woolen jumper uncomfortable next their skin.Because of its size and portability it has become somewhat of a mascot in school displaysMiniature version of the dark navy fully lined woolen blazer which forms part of the School uniform, including the embroidered logo next to the left lapel. The display includes a wooden stand.The Donvale Christian College logo is embroidered on the front,next to the left lapel. On inside of the right front of the blazer is sewn a "Bob Stewart's Kew" printed Name tag which has room for the owner's name and phone number to be writtenblazer, jacket, donvale christian college

A third S class tram is directly behind 166. In the background on the corner block are bill boards advertising 3AW's Cashmere Bouquet products, Richmond Pilsner and a real estate board by W.
