Chinese book set in album case. The set of three books are printed in Chinese in red and black ink. They include text and illustrations printed on lightweight paper. The books have a yellow covers and are stitched at the spine. The album is made of firm card and is covered in a patterned silken fabric with handmade bone and fabric hinges.

Glass ornamental tower designed on The Pearl Tower in Shanghai, China. Presented to the SGSC from businessman Mr. Poo, Jinshan Community in China. The tower features a tall spire with two large faceted balls and three smaller balls fixed to a glass base. Chinese writing around the edge of base. Under the base is round mirror which creates a multicoloured effect through the base of the tower.

Cast bronze figurine featuring a reclining woman or meramaid in ocean waves. Her left arm is outstretched and she rests her head on the arm. Black velvet on base.

Frame decorative Chinese bowl with dragon design. Black and gold bowl in black and gold window mount with brown wood frame. The frame is edged in gold and the mount features a decorative lace design in each corner. Red and white text label printed in Chinese.

Framed Chinese glass oil painting on stand. The painting features a Chinese fishing boat and two fish, one is a large gold fish jumping out of the water and the second is a small black fish. Brown laquered wood frame set in a decorative carved wood stand. Chinese writing on the sails of the boat.

Black pottery urn made in Jinshan China. The urn featues a dragon design etched on the bowl and two high curved handles.

Framed pen and ink drawing of town site in Korumburra showing buildings, fences and trees. In 1913 the site was gifted to the Australian Defence Services by the community of Korumburra and returned to them in 2004. Set on grey window mount with text panel and brown timber frame.

Inscribed Chinese wood and brass ornament on stand. Features raised design of horses and Chinese text. Polished dark wood panel with brass plate affixed to both sides. Hinged to decorative brass and wood supports which allow the panel to pivot on the base.

Handmade three dimensional wool frame. Features a Chinese house in a winter night scene. Decorative raised parts include the frame edge, house, roof, fence, moon and stars. Each piece is bound in wool thread to create the woven effect. Colours of blue, white, brown and red. Sealed in a plastic bag. Manufacturer's label printed in Chinese on reverse.

Engraved wood flag stand with three flags. Presented to the first elected SGSC by the outgoing commissioners Bruce Ward, Peter Jennings and Jack Vinall, 17 March 1997. Features an Australian flags, the Victorian flag and the SGSC flag. An engraved brass/metal plate at the base features a dated inscription.

Small carved wood table made in China. Features four decorative candy-twist legs and scrolled edging. Brown polished wood.

SGSC honour board. Painted in gold and black ink the board has five columns; three of which contain details of the past and present councillors, presidents and CEOs from 1994 to present day. Carved wood council logo upper edge. Description of the formation of the SGSC printed across lower edge.

SGSC Australia Day Award Recipeint's honour board. Brown polished wood board featuring four columns detailing the Year, Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and the Community Event. Painted in gold and black.

Decorative quilt made by SGSC staff. Each department contributed a decorated fabric square which represented what that department did. The body of the quilt features these decorated squares in between plain blue and green squares. Orange fabric border. Backed with calico and hemmed with a wood dowel hanging rod upper edge. Four plain white squares with the council logo in the centre are includes in the top and bottom rows.

Colour print of Caribbean Art painted by Gilly Gobinet. Features a man on a donkey, woman with child, goat and chickens on a road near a village. Sea and sky in background. Set in cream card window mount. Sealed in cellophane bag with blue sheet containing a description of the artist.

Set of five paper cuts made at the Jinshan Peasant Academy in China. Three different designs. Cut from red paper the cuts feature designs of flowers and birds. Contained in a cardboard folder with Chinese writing and the date in black ink on the inside of back page. Hand written on front of folder is "MR WU - DIRECTOR JINSHAN PEASANT ACADEMY"
