Promoted L/Cpl 13.9.1914, Cpl 24.9.1914, embark for Egypt 19.10.1914, embark for Gallipoli 5.4.1915, promoted Sgt 30.4.1915, promoted 2nd Lieut to date from 29.4.1915, KIA 8/9th August 1915.
