The Tower Hill Cemetery is located near Koroit on the north side of the Princes Highway The, between Port Fairy and Warrnambool. The first burial at Tower Hill Cemetery took place in 1856. The University of Melbourne System Garden was created by the first professor of Natural Science Frederick McCoy in 1856. It was originally comprised of a series of concentric garden beds, aorganised acording to plant classification.
