Set of 15 mixed SEC tickets found in a tramcar being worked on at the depot c1998 (possibly No. 18 or 28), information not recorded at the time. Tickets have been used and have varying degrees of dirt. The image file shows the nature of the damage. Tickets have not been individually numbered with the Registration Number, but can be identified by their ticket number and denomination. The ticket is printed using turquoise colour ink, with the ticket number in black ink. Ticket in the style of the SEC tram tickets. Tickets used for Adult Return, Child Return and Child Single from 24/12/1974 to 31/10/1985. Ticket collected at the time of first issue to museum (date 12/7/1974) and placed in a manila envelope for the archives. Newspaper clipping from The Courier, Ballarat, prior to 29 June 1968, about the forthcoming trip by the Tramways Museum Society (TMSV) to ride on tram No. 27 when it records its millionth mile on the Ballarat Tramway system at 3.10pm on 29/6/1968. Cutting from the "For the Record" section of The Courier, Ballarat's weekend magazine of Saturday August 12, 1995 about the location of Ballarat's first set of traffic lights. Were at the corners Mair St. with the intersection of Doveton, Armstrong and Lydiard Streets. The latter had trams at the time. They became operational about May 1970. Generally understood not installed at other streets at the times because of the complexity of the tramway system and its impending closure. Gives times for the departure from the City and the terminus for the Eaglehawk, Quarry Hill, Golden Square and North Bendigo routes. Page 1 for Monday to Friday, page 2 for Saturday and on the bottom of page 2, details of Sunday services commencing from 2pm, until about 10.30pm. May have been the last timetable issued for Bendigo.
