The open are in the foreground was part of railway land on the west side of Sunbury Station along Horne Street. The initial preparations to develop the area into a commercial and entertainment precinct were just commencing. The development that took place on this site was indicative of the growth that was taking place in Sunbury in the early 2000sA coloured photograph of an open area feed off with temporary netting in preparation for construction work. Built 1900c, cottage was made available for widow and children of Dougal Egan, lost when fishing boat Orme disappeared in 1909. After Mrs Egan married George South, cottage became known as the South House. Later resident Mrs Edith Rawlinson. Shows the condition and environment of the streesscape of Main Road, Eltham immediately prior to the duplication between Pitt Street and Elsa Court through the shopping centre. The Zig-Zag Bridge which was constructed in the 1870s to link the Yarra Bend Asylum and Kew Asylum. This photograph was taken from Hare Street and shows the City of Echuca council offices, before the Shire of Campaspe came about. The Ballarat Camp housed the Goldfields administrators. It was from this site that the troopers left on the morning of 3 December 1854 to attack the Eureka Stockade.
