The unmarked graves of the children of two Greensborough pioneer families lie in a private cemetery on the Plenty River. Burials occurred between 1848 and 1860. The grave is that of Martha Williams and her father John and is the only existing grave in the old Mickleham Cemetery which was associated with the Wesleyan Chapel and is a reminder of the strength of the Wesleyan faith in the Mickleham district in the 19th century.A coloured photograph of a grave site with a concrete edge and low iron fence around it and a simple tombstone with a curved top. Hilda was born in Wandin Yallock in 1899 and was the eldest daughter of William and Frances sebire.. She died on 14th August 2906. aged seven years in Wandin Yallock. She is buried at the Lilydale Cemetery.A framed photograph of Hilda Rihoy Sebire 1899 - 1906, taken standing next to a decorative stand with a pot plant fern on top of it. Hilda is wearing a frilly long sleeved white dress with a large collar and tie at the neck. She wears a very large frilled hat with ribbon ties. The decorative gold painted wooden frame has a cream cloth mount with a gold edge around the black and white photograph. Attached to the bottom of the frame is' Hilda Rihoy Sebire 1899 - 1906'. Emily Ann Hanson Stitfold was born in Ballarat in 1866 to Thomas Stitfold and Sarah Stitfold (Hanson). There were six children, one boy and five girls. Emily attended photography classes at Ballarat School of Mines in 1896 (Grade !) and 1898. Photography was a new course offered and she was one of the first students to attend. She became a member of the Ballarat Amateur Photographic Association. Emily died in 1948 and is buried in the Ballarat Old Cemetery. (BN Section 19 Grave 9). Copies of historic photos from Harefield during World War 1. They are of the funerals of a soldier and Nurse Dickinson. They were both buried in the Military Cemetery in Harefield. During World War 1 the Australian Auxiliary Hospital No.1 was stationed at Harefield Park in Harefield, UxBridge, Middlesex UK. 111 Australian soldiers and one nurse from the hospital are buried at St Mary's Church, Harefield. This became an Australian Military Cemetery with individual headstones and an obelisk and arch. The headstones which are of a scroll design unique amongst Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemeteries were chosen by the staff and patients at the hospital. The arch was erected by the CWGC. Anzac Day services are held there and the local school became involved with the headmaster, Mr Jefferies, bringing the school children to lay flowers on every grave and attend the service on Anzac Day. This started in 1921 and has continued until at least 2021. One school child who attended was Mr Alf Young, he made contact with Legacy in the 1990s and sent photos of the Anzac Day Services and the cemetery. Legacy responded by sending Australian flags for the school children and also Legatee John Cohen met with Mr Young when in London. Melbourne Legacy staff member Susie Howard also visited Mr Young and the cemetery in 1995. Mr Young provided historical photos and information of the area to Legacy. He was featured in the widows' newsletter The Answer many times and his death was announced in The Answer in April 1997, he was 85. Many of the photos he provided were labelled as coming from Mr R G Neil, Photographic historian from Harefield. He holds copyright over those photos.A record that Legacy helped support remembrance of Anzac Day and World War 1 soldiers buried in the UK.Black and white photos x 2 of funerals in Harefield in 1918.One is printed on the front 'Military Funeral, Harefield' and on a label on reverse says 'Soldiers funeral on a gun carriage 1918.
