The photos were in a collection held by SQD Leader Kenneth Frederick Bawden No 250882 RAAF. Enlistment details are scant. Enlisted on 4.12.1939, served Darwin area 15.9.1942. - 6.1.1943, after details are near nil but records state there was Pacific area service and was awarded the Pacific Star. At discharge on 28.2.1946 he held the rank of Sqd Ldr at Air Force HQ. Refer 2048.9. Photographs in envelope.
