This grave commemorates the memory of Matilda, daughter of Joseph and Sara Richardson; she died in Feb 1873 aged 8. The Richardsons bought land on Phillip Island in 1868 and named their home Everton. The cemetery land was set aside in 1870 and surveyed in 1903.
