A programme of the annual "Anzac Commemoration Ceremony for Students", held each April. The ceremony provides a valuable opportunity for students to gain an appreciation of the Anzac spirit, the significance of the Shrine and the meaning of Anzac Day. The 4 pages outline the order of service of the ceremony, some background notes on the ANZAC Commemorations, a short history of the Shrine of Remembrance and a story of Legacy. They mention the ceremony is telecast on the ABC television channels. One mentions is it a 'Circular to Victorian Colleges and Schools' so they were also sent to school to publicise the events. These are from 1968, 1969, 1974, 1975, 1977 and 1978. They vary slightly, 1978 is 6 pages. Each was attended by the Governor of Victoria, up to 1974 it was Sir Rohan Delacombe and after that Sir Henry Winneke. The minutes of the Melbourne Legacy Wives Association from 1968 to 1978. The wives of legatees established the Legacy Wives' Association to help support their husbands' work. They often helped the widows' prepare costumes for the children' annual demonstrations. They also held golf tournaments and events that helped fundraise. The meeting in 1968 mentions the president of the Legacy Wives Association was Norma Cooper, who was the wife of the President of Melbourne Legacy in 1968. CITATION TO ACCOMPANY THE AWARD OF THE DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS (First Oak Leaf Cluster) Squadron leader Alan R Reed distinguished himself by extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as and RD-4C Aircraft Commander in Southeast Asia on 24 August 1968. On that date, he flew his aircraft repeatedly through intense hostile ground fire to obtain complete photographic coverage of the target. In addition, he voluntarily remained in that hostile environment for as long as fuel would allow, to act as a spotter and to pass firing corrections to friendly artillery. John McEwen, Australia's 18th Prime Minister (following the sudden death of Harold Holt) served 23 days as Prime Minister 19 December 1967 to 10 January 1968. The Prime Ministers Avenue is a collection of bronze bust portraits of the Prime Ministers of Australia, located at the Ballarat Botanical Gardens in Ballarat, Victoria. The Prime Ministers' portraits are commissioned after the incumbent term of each Prime Minister by the City of Ballarat. The City of Ballarat has taken responsibility for commissioning the busts after funds set aside by politician Richard Armstrong Crouch were exhausted in 2014. Crouch originally donate money to pay for six busts, the first of which was unveiled in 1940. The collection of prime ministers' busts are unique in Australia, representing the only sculptural portrait collection of all past Australian Prime Ministers.
