Stamped in capital letters on the badge are "BALLARAT TRAMWAYS" on the outside, "EMPLOYEES DEPOT PASS", in the centre of the badge, with the word "Employees" in a semi-circle. Photographed outside the Wendouree Parade depot, late 1887, with 16 workmen standing or lying around the tramcar. Builders Photo. Tram is lettered "BALLAARAT TRAMWAY CO LIMITED". A sign on the advertising board says "Duncan & Fraser, Builders, Ballaarat". The men around the tram are dressed in trade clothes, with aprons, including carpenters, painters and blacksmiths. Photocopy of a letter written by BTM Alan Bradley 3/5/2001 to Mrs. B. Ware of 237 Loftus Avenue, Loftus NSW. giving information by her grandfather, Mr. H.W. Collett, who was Tramway Superintendent at Ballarat from 1910 to 1922. Letter on BTM Letterhead. Letter gives details of references to Mr. Collett - 1912 Arbitration Hearings, and the 1922 strike. The most use it was put to was on Mt Pleasant, but it ran also to High School as replacement for trams on Sebas if an electric tram was derailed. Perhaps the most unique trips it ever made was between Forest St. Wendouree to the Aerodrome, 1929, on the occasions of any ?? flight. Set of two colour prints of the presentation of the BTPS Raffle prize held during 1981 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the closure of the Ballarat Tramway System. 3095.2 was used as a black and white print on the rear cover of the 1981 - 1982 Annual Report.
