The centre was one of several community groups established in the mid 1980's. Bendigo Pottery brown demi-john, covered in basket weave cane. Basket weave covers sides of object only. Donor comment: the wicker covering was applied by the pottery's blind workers, they being very efficient at their task. These workers were believed to have been paid piece work. One gallon capacity.
