A function in Legacy House attended by widows and legatees. It is assumed to be 2001 as it was with a bunch of other photos with the label, "Badge Launch 2001". Legatee George Woodward (President in 1994) holds a wooden spoon and appears to be entertaining the ladies, Legatee Ray Ward (President 1996) is in 00597.4, and Legatee Tony Parkes (President 2002) is making a speech in 00597.5. The lady in blue is Dulcie Cedaro and Glad Fenton is standing next to her, both are Legacy widows and active in the Widows' club committees.A record of a function for widows. Demonstrates a button made for the HTT Set of four Coat buttons for the Hawthorn Tramways Trust - HTT - made by Stokes and Sons Melbourne. The badge backing piece is brass. It is fitted with a lug for sewing onto a jacket and has the name of the manufacturer stamped on the rear part.
