This copy was amongst loose papers Bob Watchorn had from an ambition of writing a history of Stawell which did not eventuate in 1980's. Two photographic copies of a paper print showing a horse drawn cart with two men beside the horse. The horse drawn cart is in front of a double store building with other buildings to the left. The hotel was originally built and opened by the Keppel Family in 1865. The Keppel's Australian Hotel was the first hotel to be opened in Marysville.
