35mm Kodachrome cardboard mount slide of Ballarat No. 17 at Gardens Loop, Wendouree Parade early 1960's. Tram has a roof advertisement for SEC Briquettes. On the front of the tram is a dash panel advertisement for White Horse Whiskey and an auxiliary board for "Trotting Showgrounds Thursday". The tram has the destination of Victoria St. In the background is the Gardens Kiosk. Single truck (4 wheel) straight sill combination tramcar with open ends, closed centre saloon, longitudinal seats. Centre section originally an 1892 Sydney cable car trailer ( No. 18 - North Sydney).
