The front and second page of 'Silver and Blue' the Bendigo Teachers' College magazine. On the front page is a black and white photograph of The Teachers' College, Bendigo and a list of the Editorial Staff. Editress: Miss S. Ottenson. Business Manager: Mr. A. Lewis. Secretary and Treasurer: Mr. A. Harris. Committee: Miss King, Miss Groom, Mr. Duggan. The second page of silver and blue tells us it is vol. 1. No. 5 and the subscription for this magazine is 2/6 per copy. The editorial contains an illustration of a student with a clock and work mounting up. The message in the editorial is students are 'on the threshold of life.' Some students will be able to cope with difficulties better than others. The editorial continues to tell students keep 'striving to reach the stars' but keep their sense of humour despite life being a 'serious business'. November, 1930.
