Image of MMTB Scrubber tram No. 8 northbound in Elizaberth St at the corner with Collins St. Has a W2 in the background. The tram was strengthed during 1961 by adding bracing between the cabs. Two ladies one with a pram are waiting at the safety zone. Based on the dresses of the ladies and pram, most likely mid to late 1950s. Note the large letter box or receiving pillar with a crown behind the tram. The tram is now part of the Museum's fleet and is used for rail/track maintenance. Album comprises heavy cardboard covers with brown Rexene covers, with inside papers of heavy dark grey photo album paper, 36 leaves of dark grey photo paper and two brass interscrews within black grommets. Title page has been hand written to Les Denmead, dated 6/7/1970, thanking Mr. Denmead for his assistance over the years.
