The photograph of the all male committee of the IPS was taken at Ithaca House in 1976, sixty years after the establishment of the Ithacan Philanthropic Society. At the time, in accordance with the constitution, women were ineligible to be full members and therefore committee members. Pictured L-R, back: Petros Kouratos, Dennis Lourantos, J. Mavromatis, Dennis Katsamas, Naki Raftopoulos, Parry Gabriel; front: Michael Black, (Mavrokefalos) Evangelos Metaxas, Nick Varigos (Varvarigos), Sotiris Sikiotis, Stathy Raftopoulos.
