Embarked for England 26.11.17, embarked for France 17.7.18, KIA 16.8.18 at Tincourt, France. The photo was most likely taken in Croydon, South London at the home of Stephen Tully, the elder man sitting in the photo. Betty Tully is in front of him, Eileen in the white dress. The lady in the black dress is Annie Parker. The photo was taken prior to Kedge embarking for France. Refer to Ct. The photograph shows L - R. Ted Child, Ivy Child and Ethel Child. Ivy is standing between her parents and is holding her cat Dorlam. The photograph was probably taken at Ted and Ethel's property in Childs Road c1950s. Ivy May Child (1910 – 1989) was the daughter of Arthur Edward (Ted) Child (1878 – 1964) and Ethel May Madden (1888 – 1970). Ted Child was the son of Matthew Francis Child (1839 – 1933) and Martha Jeeves (1857 – 1926). He was the grandson of one of the early pioneers Francis Child. Ivy grew up on the family property on Childs Road and took many photographs.
