She was a Fellow of the College, and was appointed a Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George (CMG) for services to medicine in 1975. Paper certificate registering Dr Margaret Alison Mackie as a doctor. Issued by the Medical Board of Victoria, the certificate lists Dr Mackie's certificate number, residential address, and qualification, and is affixed with a red wax seal at bottom left.
