The photograph was taken from a Victorian Railways glass negative held at the State Library of Victoria. The photo shows Geelong No. 2 in Moorabool St at the intersection with Ryrie St. The tram has the destination of North. The tram is in its modified form that provides for one-man operation. In the photo are Edments, Savoia Cafe, Commercial Bank of Australia, and the T&G building. The photo has been dated between 1935 when the tram was converted and 1939 when the bar neon traffic lights were installed at the intersection. Set of two colour prints of the presentation of the BTPS Raffle prize held during 1981 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the closure of the Ballarat Tramway System. 3095.2 was used as a black and white print on the rear cover of the 1981 - 1982 Annual Report. Yields information about a system of tram passes that were provided to the City of Ballarat Councillors in 1960 and has a strong association with the Councillors himself.Stamped brass badge or pass for free travel on the Ballarat Tramways for the year 1906. Stamped to give the words "Ballarat Electric Trams 1906" on the outer edge of the Badge and then stamped out to give the letters 'B E T" on the inside of the badge. On the top of the badge, a hole has been provided and a steel ring fitted. On the rear of the badge has the letters "CR. T. J. Hoare" stamped on the top of the badge and on the bottom the manufacturer's name "Stokes" in a reverse stamp. Indicates badge issued to the Councillor for the year 1906. Single sheet of paper that appears to have been either taken from a book or was printed as a pamphlet to advertise the routes that Ballarat Tramways (ESCo) ran. On the reverse side is an advertisement for Craig's Hotel, Lydiard St. Ballarat. See image files as well. The sheet has numerous tears on the left side (when viewed from Craigs Hotel) and marks possibly from gluing into a book and pieces of paper missing at about the position where it could have been stapled. Also two pin holes in top corners. The details for Ballarat Tramways notes the use of Fare Boxes, the Electric Supply Company offices being near the Coliseum, and the various colours used on the various routes and points of interest for visitors along the route. Request people to "Enter front end of cars and move right through". The advertisement for Craig's shows a photo of the hotel, motorcars outside , that it has been renovated and sewered throughout, that T.F. McManamny was proprietor. On top and bottom of the photograph, "J. Hesse" has been handwritten in using black ink. A letter "A" is on the lower left hand side of the sheet.
