Agfa Colour slide, cardboard, during 1964 at the time of the AETA Convention by Keith Caldwell of W2 219 parked in the yard at Camberwell depot showing the destination of Burwood, and route 77. The tram shelter at Riversdale Road is shown behind the tram. A very similar image was taken by Dale Budd at the same time and used on the front cover of Bellcord, September 2019 issue who advised in an email of 9/9/2019 that "Re the photo of 219, it is likely Keith was standing alongside me. The picture was taken during the 1964 AETA convention and I think many of the attendees were together when that photo was taken." Wooden Wax Sealing stamp - wood handle with a small brass stamp with the letters "R.Ty." and "I" or "1" underneath. See e-mail message from Andrew Cook dated 3-2-2019, Andrew advised "That is a wax seal (see attached image of a modern day one). You can still buy them to this day. I'm only guessing, but maybe the seal came from one of Melbourne's cable tram depots? 'R' could possibly stand for 'Richmond' or maybe 'Revenue'. This file contains four items pertaining to activities at the Caulfield RSL: 1/A pamphlet published by the RSL (undated) providing cursory information about it; briefly describing its history and listing its amenities. Included are four colour photographs; two of the exterior of the building and two of patrons seated in its eateries. 2/The minutes of the 18/09/1979 meeting of the Angling Section of the Caulfield RSL. The main issue discussed is an impending vacation to King Island. A more minor issue discussed is the need to institute a recordkeeping system. 3/A typewritten letter, dated 26/08/1981, from the Caulfield RSL;s secretary, J. W. BHS CollectionFox fur stole - mid brown colour. Wider at centre back than at ends.Each end has six short tassels ( 8cms). Fully lined with brown satin fabric. Fastened at front with cotton covered hook and eye. Centre back has pleated ruffle at neckline. False pocket at centre front on LHS. Stole made up from six long strips of fur. Stole worn by maternal grandmother of Barbara Filcock at Barbara's wedding to Kevin Gallagher 20/08/1960. The fur stole was owned by Bernadine Filcock of Bendigo. It was purchased at Myer Bendigo. The stole was worn for many years to family weddings and on a sea voyage in 1970. Chair donated to Melbourne City Mission (probably in 1941) by Mrs RODDA of Williamstown and used at the Port Branch (Jubilee Hall) until its closure . From the 1950s it was used by Sister Norma BARNETT, who kept it until her death. It then went to her 'sister' Janne RAY, and on her death to Janne's daughter Tracey RAY. She donated this plus related items to PMHPS in 2017 (refer 1506 and 3906).01 - solid wooden chair with peaked/pointed shaped back. Arms have rounded ends. Upright section of chair has two indented pieces and a small 4 leaf shape under the top of the point with a small brass plaque attached under it. .02 - Cushion - velourOn plaque "Presented to the Port Melbourne Branch of the Melbourne City Mission in loving memory of my husband N.P.Rodda.
