Administrative record - XMAS STOCKING ROSTER BRSL 1998, C.1998
This yearly effort was conducted from 12.11.1998 - 12.12.1998. At the bottom of each page are details re pick up and delivery of tickets and stocking. The raffle was conducted from 3 different selling points. The names on the roster are a who's who of the RSL at the time, except for two names all the sellers were WW2 era members being a list of President current, ex Presidents, Life members, Committee and notables. The hand written notes were by Jack Barnes OAM. Pages 28 and 29 feature small quotes from GD/MM alumni, as well as naming contacts and connections. Co-production of students and staff. On the turquoise coloured front is a black/white photograph of the main street of Rosedale before the time of motor vehicles. It contains early photographs of East Gippsland, one for each month. There is a hole for hanging. The title is at the top and the year at the bottom in black print. -

Photocopy of the original board report for the Woollen Cloth Factory (later Federal Woollen Mills and Classweave) in North Geelong. Original document dates from February 14, 1917. Unclear what year this photocopy is from. Item was discovered onsite when Classweave Industries closed down in 2001. Watermark across the pages of the report read PROVISION OF A COPY OF THIS RECORD HELD BY THE AUSTRALIAN ARCHIVES DOES NOT AUTHORISE ITS PUBLICATION OR REPRODUCTION. Yields information about the style and printing of tickets used in Ballarat and Bendigo tramways and how they were presented.Block of 200 tickets - orange ink on off white paper, denomination 5c, lettered A373000 to A 373199, headed State Electricity Commission of Victoria, Provincial Tramways and letters "CITY SECTION" on either side of the ticket, rather than section marks.
