Bacchus Marsh had a prestige Hosiery Factory for a short time approximately 1945/1950. Not known where this pair were made but possibly bought at Shepards shop (written on box).An example of local history, factory and shop.Cream cardboard box containing one pair of used nylon stockings, light brown with a seam on back. One stocking has a ladder and is mended with nail varnish.
