The plaque is dedicated in appreciation to the Port of Melbourne from the Chartered Institute of Transport (Malaysia). The plaque is made of dark blue metal sheeting, engraved with white writing. At the top centre of the plaque is the large gold-plated seal of the Charted Institute of Transport, Malaysia which is dominated by a Pegasus. The plaque is backed by a wooden board painted back, which is hinged onto a red felt case. This photo of a girl posing at a beach in 1976. It was probably taken to showcase the annual demonstration. Throughout the year Melbourne Legacy provided classes for Junior Legatees such as dancing, gymnastics and eurythmics, the Demonstration was an annual event to showcase their skills. Melbourne Legacy conducted Annual Demonstrations / Parades from 1928 through to the late 1970's, usually held at Melbourne Town Hall or Olympic Pool Stadium. The beautiful costumes were made by members of the Junior Legacy Mothers' Club and the Melbourne Legacy Wives' Association. A black and white slide of eight boys at a boys camp in 1956-57. They could be on billy carts or skateboards. One boy has two tennis racquets. It is possibly at Blamey House in Kew, as other slides show camps at the residence during summer holidays. Was with many other slides taken in the 1950s and 1960s. The slides have been photographed to make digital images and moved to archive quality sleeves. 'Interweave One' is a quilt made by Judy Turner in 2000. It consists of a woollen background and coloured woollen yarn which have been machine couched to the background. The techniques used to make it include quilting and machine couching. This quilt was an entrant in "Expressions 2000: the wool quilt prize"; an acquisitive exhibition held by the National Wool Museum from 16 Sept. 2000 to 3 Dec. 2000 (extended until 2 Feb. 2001) for contemporary art quilts, with the first prize winning $2000. 'Interweave 1' was selected as a highly commended entrant of this exhibition.
