This Certificate was presented to the Shire of Ballarat in appreciation of greetings and best wishes, sent to the City of Burnie Tasmania, on the occasion of the Proclamation of that City,on Tuesday 26th April 1988.Friendship and fellowship shown to a new city.Rectangular dark wood frame with gold edging on the inner edge. It was built for Gwendoline Pitman after the death of her father Clarence Pitman and the disappearance of her sister Olive in July 1926.
