Typed information as follows: Originally the kitchen of the original Springhurst Carrier Arms Hotel, Circa 1913, was skidded to Donovan's property (Barnett Place) by John Wightons traction engine, and served as Springhurst Post Office until 1928. 1929-32 it was a general store, operated by Walter T Dawson.
