This tram was converted to a W2 class during Jan. 1932. Has another tram behind it. The Melbourne Hospital is in the background and nurses and patients can be seen on the balconies. There is one horse drawn cab parked in Lonsdale Street near the cast iron urinal structure along with a fruit vendor's carts by the hotel entry. Alice Mary Salter and William Robert Salter living together; presumed to be sister and brother. William Robert Salter was killed in a MVA in Bendigo in 1937 aged 26.
