Linda Blundell was employed by the Presbytery of Maribyrnong Valley, arranged by the Presbytery Minister of the time, the Rev. Brace Bateman. She was employed to work with Broadmeadows families, in particular with those who had got into financial difficulties through excessive borrowing and the somewhat unscrupulous advertising tactics of some businesses. Alan Anderson Brash was born 5 June 1913 and died 24 August 2002, aged 89. He was well regarded as a leading Presbyterian minister in New Zealand, was a committed ecumenist, and Moderator of the PCNZ in 1979. Married Eljean Hill, three children. Pacifist during WW2. Graduated from Princeton University 1928 with a BA, and from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1932 with a Bachelor of Theology, From 1928 to 1929 he taught at the Forman Christian College in Lahore. In 1935 was minister in the Presbyterian Church in America, holding pastorates in New York City and Albany. In 1951 to 1958 clerk of the General Assembly of the PCUSA President National Council of Churches. General Secretary of the World Council of Churches 1966 to1972. Alison M Grant (18/3/1925–15/4/1984) studied for a B.D. as a private student and when in 1974 the General Assembly of Australia approved the ordination of women she applied to be a candidate for the ministry and was ordained in 1975. She served in Robinvale and Balmoral before her untimely death from cancer on Palm Sunday 1984.
